By using dakryolive.com (the “Site”) or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. The company
Dakry Olive — Mediterranean Luxury House — trades from Methoni, Messinia, Greece, with tasting rooms in Athens and Warwick, Rhode Island, United States.
3. Orders
An order placed through the Site is an offer to purchase the products listed at the prices shown. We confirm receipt of your order by email, but acceptance of the order — and the conclusion of the sale — happens when we dispatch your goods.
We may decline an order at our discretion, in which case we will not charge you and will refund any payment already taken.
4. Pricing
Prices are shown in US dollars and include the applicable sales tax for orders shipped within the United States. Prices for orders shipped internationally are exclusive of any duties or import taxes, which are the customer’s responsibility.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time before dispatch.
5. Payment
Accepted payment methods are listed on our Payment Methods page. Payment is taken at the moment of dispatch unless otherwise noted at checkout.
6. Shipping & delivery
Shipping rates and estimated transit times are detailed on our Delivery Times page. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery.
7. Returns
Our Return Policy sets out the circumstances under which goods may be returned and how refunds are processed.
8. Intellectual property
All Site content — including imagery, copy, the Dakry brand, the Dakry logo and the visual presentation of our products — is owned by Dakry Olive or licensed to us, and is protected by intellectual-property law. You may not reproduce, distribute or republish any content without our written permission.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site or our products is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, United States, for orders shipped within the US, and by the laws of Greece for orders shipped within the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
